Industrial Office Spaces

Industrial office design workplaces are more visually appealing, functional, and open than ever before

Project information

Office for Product Design

This project was a remodel of a manufacture Industry, built in white clay bricks.  The Offices was originally divided into two separate spaces.  The clients wanted to open the space up, while retaining the ability to get access to laboratory, and give it a fresh feeling more in keeping with the architecture of the space.

  • Clients: Ethan Hunt
  • Completion: February 5th, 2017
  • Project Type: Villa, Residence
  • Architects: Logan Cee

We reconfigured an adjacent back entry to create a useful little mudroom, and in the space between the two designed a thick arched opening with shelves for cookbooks and a pull-out broom closet.

The Project

The first and second floor is divided into three levels, each with its own common living space as well as adjacent bedrooms. We wanted to give each level a special feeling of its own.

The Design

We redesigned the director and the manager office with the game table and had vintage chairs upholstered to match it. The lower level is playful and casual with a big sectional clad in reclaimed barn wood.

Conclusions

With the new Design the House become more comfortable and warm with colorful rugs and cozy wing back chairs upholstered in linen and cowhide.

New furniture includes vintage chairs reupholstered in brightly colored felt, a 10′ long bench upholstered in an antique Moroccan rug, and a JHID-designed coffee table made of walnut “bricks”, an echo of the brick architecture.
